As a Radiology Assistant in our Wessex Hospital, your role calls for equal excellence in both administration and people skills.
You'll be adept at working quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
You'll also need a caring nature and the ability to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
Here, you'll help deliver a high quality diagnostic imaging services.
As a Radiology Assistant, you will: Facilitate our high-quality ultrasound service ensuring a high level of patient care, respect and dignity.
Undertake appointment bookings.
Work closely with our Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers and Administration team.
Be involved with clinical audit and other administrative duties relating to your role.
Accurately input data into radiology software CRIS, patient management software PIMS to ensure correct billing of patients.
Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
To succeed as a Radiology Assistant, you will have: Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare.
Experience within a work environment, preferably within a customer focused / people focused setting.
Basic IT skills.
Willingness to undertake non-clinical tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department.
Work well within a close, supportive team.
Willing to go the extra mile to ensure the patient has a positive experience.
Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
