Key Responsibilities: RF Circuit Design: Practical RF design at the component level across a wide frequency range (30MHz to 30GHz) involving LNA amplifiers, high power amplifiers, filters, local oscillators, modulators, and synthesisers.
Testing & Modification: Conduct hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and modifications, including soldering and fault-finding.
Environmental Adaptability: RF design tailored for challenging environments with considerations for EMC, vibration, and thermal conditions.
Design Tools & Techniques: Use of RF design tools (e.g., Microwave Office) for layout and ensuring designs align with manufacturing requirements.
Reporting & Communication: Clearly present issues, solutions, or outcomes through reports and team communication.
Desired Skills and Experience: Strong practical skills with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analysers, power meters, VNAs).
Knowledge of digital, analogue, and power supply design.
Experience with manufacturing techniques, design for manufacture, and testing.
