Job Description TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency are supporting a highly reputable firm of Chartered Accountants in Dartford who are looking to recruit an R&D tax Manager to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business, where you will play an instrumental role in managing your own client portfolio and help further the business' R&D tax offering.
In addition to R&D, and subject to your experience, and aspirations, there is also scoped to get involved in more general corporate tax work too.
As an R&D Tax Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing your own client portfolio Managing the full end to end R&D process from claims, technical interviews, report writing, financial analysis, billing and risk procedure Quoting and budgeting for work, and managing the relevant timescales Liaising with HMRC and supporting Partners with enquiries Supporting the Partners with the direction and growth of the business Reviewing the work of, and training more junior staff Networking, marketing and businesses development Opportunity to get involved in more varied corporate tax work too Requirements Relevant professional qualification (e.g.
CTA, ACA, CA).
Good level of tax technical knowledge of the UK's R&D tax incentives.
Experience in preparing and submitting R&D tax relief claims in all sectors Knowledge of different claim methodologies, especially any industry specific challenges, over a broad range of industries.
