Location : Husbands Bosworth Pay: Dependent on experience, to be discussed at an interview.
Benefits: Company Pension, Employee Assistance Programme, 28-Days holiday including bank holidays, Company benefit platform, Cycle to work scheme Main Responsibilities: To manage the day to day running of your site ensuring maximum productivity, minimal downtime, and quality of product while ensuring the site is in line with all environmental and health and safety legislation.
To produce risk assessment and method statements that all staff have been trained on relating to all the activities undertaken at site.
Be highly organised with all staff holidays ensuring no shortfall of labour. Carry out Ad-hoc duties as requested from the Quarry Operations Director.
Liaise with site staff to ensure all tasks are completed to a satisfactory standard.
Keep an accurate record and review of staff timesheets.
Communicate with the Area Manager on progress of the site, and any training that is required.
Complete new employee site inductions, ensuring they have all correct PPE and equipment.
Conduct regular training exercises including toolbox talks.
Maintain rapport with the transport department, Materials Manager, Area Manager, Quarry Operations Director, landowners and neighbours.
Monitor and maintain all site plant ensuring all required checks are being completed by plant operators.
Conduct accident/incident investigations when required with the Health & Safety Manager.
Ensure all site environmental and Health & Safety requirements are upheld.
