Quantity Surveyor (Didcot, Oxfordshire) Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Package Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire We are working with a leading utilities contractor in search of a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Didcot, Oxfordshire.
This company is known for completing landmark utilities projects, covering earthworks, underground services, reinforced concrete, and formwork.

Key Responsibilities: Pricing of Change Orders : Accurately assess and manage costs for project changes.
Measurement and Analysis : Conduct detailed measurements of client design drawings, focusing on earthworks, underground services, reinforced concrete, and formwork.
Subcontractor Management : Handle orders and manage paperwork for subcontractors.
Cost Ledger Management : Oversee the cost ledger in a Joint Venture arrangement, ensuring cost accuracy and budget alignment.
Material Procurement : Source essential materials, including pipework, chambers, pumps, and other utility components.
Client Billing and Budgeting : Prepare monthly applications for clients and manage project budgets effectively.
Client Engagement : Address client queries regarding the scope of work with a strong understanding of Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Scope of Work (SoW).
Relationship Building : Develop and nurture long-term, beneficial relationships with clients, fostering a high standard of client satisfaction and increasing repeat business potential.
Additional Tasks : Assist with other requests from management as necessary to support business objectives.
