Our client a Tier one contractor, are looking for a Group Quantity Surveyor in their office in outside Sevenoaks just off the M26, working on D&B, Aggregates, Infrastructure, Utilities and highways projects.
This opportunity will compensate the most successful candidate with a with working in a close knit friendly team, flexibility on hours, life insurance and salary up to £70,000 for the right candidate.
The Quantity Surveyor will be involved in tendering, cost planning, measurement, valuation, contract administration, final accounts and maximising the groups contracts.

- Measurement and valuation of works including cost analysis and cost planning.
- Contract administration, including variations, claims, and negotiations.
- Preparation of interim and final accounts.
- Preparation and presentation of cost reports to senior management.
- Evaluation of tender submissions and preparation of tender reports.
- Preparation of budget estimates and cost plans.
- Preparation and submission of progress payment applications.
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements - A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field would be ideal.
- 10 years' + experience in civil engineering / utilities/ Construction as a quantity surveyor - Excellent knowledge of civil engineering contracts.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost estimating software.
- UK Driving Licence
