Our client a Tier one contractor, are looking for a Group Quantity Surveyor in their office in outside Sevenoaks just off the M26, working on D&B, Aggregates, Infrastructure, Utilities and highways projects. This opportunity will compensate the most successful candidate with a with working in a close knit friendly team, flexibility on hours, life insurance and salary up to £70,000 for the right candidate. The Quantity Surveyor will be involved in tendering, cost planning, measurement, valuation, contract administration, final accounts and maximising the groups contracts.

Measurement and valuation of works including cost analysis and cost planning. Contract administration, including variations, claims, and negotiations. Preparation of interim and final accounts. Preparation and presentation of cost reports to senior management. Evaluation of tender submissions and preparation of tender reports. Preparation of budget estimates and cost plans. Preparation and submission of progress payment applications. Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field would be ideal. 10 years' + experience in civil engineering / utilities/ Construction as a quantity surveyor Excellent knowledge of civil engineering contracts. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost estimating software. UK Driving Licence
