Job Title: Quantity Surveyor with Estimating Experience Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK Company: Design Consultancy specialising in MOD and Defence projects.
My Client is a design consultancy based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, working on a variety of MOD and Defence projects.
We are currently seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor with estimating experience to join the team.
There is a wide salary range based on a number of factors including skills, knowledge and experience, qualifications and chartered status Key Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates for new projects Pricing work off engineering drawings Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis Monitor project costs and budgeting Provide advice on cost-saving measures Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects Review and analyse contract terms and conditions Prepare tender documents and contracts Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field RICS or CIOB accreditation preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimating Strong knowledge of MOD and Defence project requirements preferred Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficient in MS Office and estimating software Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunities for career growth including personalised training plans and funded learning Collaborative work environment Employee benefits package
