This is a brilliant opportunity for a skilled QS with a strong background in civil works and construction to take on a key role in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects.
The Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and commercial management of a range of civil engineering and construction projects.
You'll ensure projects are delivered on budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial management of civil construction projects, managing costs from initial estimates through to final accounts.
Prepare and analyse tenders, contracts, and procurement documents.
Negotiate and manage contracts and subcontracts, ensuring project profitability.
Provide advice on commercial risks and opportunities.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting on budgets, cash flow, and forecasts.
Liaise with clients and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Mentor junior team members, supporting their growth and development.
Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, including NEC and JCT.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
