Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a multi-disciplinary property and construction practice and they now seek a Quantity Surveyor who will provide an excellent service to their clients in their Leeds office.

This independent consultancy offers its clients full advisory services through its Cost Consultancy, Project Management and Building Surveying services so previous experience working within a similar multi-disciplinary practice would be ideal.
This role provides the opportunity to work on a multi-million-pound programmes of works which covers a broad range of developments within the private sector.
This role has excellent prospects for an individual who has a strong ambition to progress and enjoys working collaboratively within a vibrant team.

Responsibilities: Ability to deliver the provision of Quantity Surveying/ Cost Management services on new building, refurbishments and programmes of work, from inception to handover.
Support the lead Quantity Surveyor on projects.
Prepare client cost reports and reports on any changes during the life cycle of a project.
Experience of JCT or NEC contracts.
Able to communicate effectively with both clients, contractors and other team members.
Requirements: BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
Working towards achieving MRICS.
3+ years working in a professional consultancy environment.
IT skills, such as BIM / CAD measure, Cost Planning software e.g.
CATO/CostX.
