Quantity Surveyor

Approach Personnel are proud to be working with a new build housing developer who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Birmingham.
This role is perfect for someone with Quantity Surveyor experience working on new build or social housing refurbishment projects.
Day to Day: Control all expenditure Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts On-boarding of Sub contractors/suppliers Ensuring value for money & financial assessments Manage day to day cost control & monitoring & reporting Process Sub contractor requests for payment via application & invoice Attend project & company related meetings Ensure timely cash flow management Maintain & develop professional relationships with clients & customers About You Degree or other technical qualification Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor Strong commercial awareness Proven track record delivering contracts on time and within budget Contractual awareness Negotiating, communication & presentation skills Knowledge of Supply Chain management RICS / CIOB qualification - Preferred Package Up to £60,000 per annum Annual Performance Bonus Private Medical Car Allowance Company Pension This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
