Location : Basildon, Essex Salary : £40k - £55k Benefits : Company pension, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, excellent career prospects About the Role : A well-established steelwork specialist seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to manage financial and contractual aspects of various steelwork projects, from initial tender to completion.
You'll oversee budgets, manage variations, ensure compliance with JCT & NEC contracts, and work closely with project teams to deliver projects efficiently.
Responsibilities : Manage financial and contractual elements from tender to project handover Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring ongoing compliance Monitor budgets, variations, and implement effective cost strategies Work alongside project management to ensure timely, on-budget delivery Procure materials, enforce health and safety, and maintain regular audits Requirements : Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience Knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts and CDM regulations Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; full driving licence Apply Now : Take the next step in your career and join a growing company with excellent prospects.
