Oldham /Rochdale/ Middleton area £25,000 - £28,000 + Car Allowance & Company Package Our client is a well-established family run business based within Greater Manchester.
They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with 1-2 years experience to join their friendly team, working on various new build and refurbishment projects across the residential, local authority and education sectors.
What Were Looking For: 1-2 years QS Experience : Youve got a track record of delivering successful projects, managing costs, and driving efficiency ideally within the residential sector.
Strong Financial Acumen : Expert in managing budgets, tendering, and cost control from inception to completion.
Negotiation & Communication Skills : Confident dealing with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Problem-Solving Ability : You can quickly assess challenges and develop innovative solutions to keep projects on track.
Your Role: Managing the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents, ensuring accurate forecasting.
Overseeing subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and high standards of service.
Providing financial reports and advice to senior management, helping drive strategic decision-making.
Ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Working closely with the project team to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
