Quant Researcher - London - PhDs A top tier trading firm is looking for highly talented PhD graduates to join their business.

Based in London, the company is renowned for being one of the top performing HFTs over the last few decades.
They hire from elite academic institutions and have a strong track record of helping graduates become highly skilled researchers.

The day-to-day will see you using your mathematical and statistical knowledge to develop interesting and unique trading ideas that, when approved, will be put into production and be running live across global markets.

The right candidate will have excellent python coding skills, have a familiarity of financial markets and will have achieved / be on track to achieve exceptional grades from a top University.

The firm pay very well with total comp being ~ £300,000+ for year one and genuinely offer a healthy work / life balance.

Responsibilities Conducting alpha research across a variety of asset classes Helping implement and enhance systematic strategies Building tools which will improve and optimise investment ideas Requirements A PhD from an exceptional university (must be a highly quantitative subject) Excellent coding skills in one of Python, C++ or R Strong knowledge of financial markets required.
Willingness to work in a fast paced environment
