Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for systematic trading?
A leading trading firm in global financial markets is on the lookout for an experienced Quantitative Researcher focusing on mid-frequency alpha in London.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside top traders and developers, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment.
As a Quantitative Researcher, you'll play a crucial role in developing and managing trading strategies, with a particular emphasis on systematic trading and technology-driven solutions.
? Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with researchers, traders, and developers to design and implement quantitative trading strategies.
Utilise your data analysis skills to build predictive models for mid-frequency trading and apply portfolio optimisation techniques across multi-asset portfolios.
Analyse production data, oversee performance, and develop metrics, providing valuable insights back into the research process.
Ideal Candidate Will Have: An advanced degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in proprietary trading, high-frequency trading, or options and FX trading.
Expertise in medium-frequency alpha and trade execution.
Proficiency in financial signal processing and a background in quantitative research addressing real-world challenges.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Java or Python.
This role is based near St Paul's tube station, requiring in-office presence 4 days a week with a day of flexibility after probation.
