We are looking for a Project Lead to join our team in London.
You will get to work on our largest client account, a leading US financial company.
We carry out a range of diverse projects with this client, some ad hoc and semi-continuous.
Our single largest project is a large-scale international mystery shopping project.
You will have a background in managing large annual tracking studies (ideally international in scope), along with experience of standard quantitative methods and techniques.
Ideally, you are an associate director who is keen to experience life in a successful, busy agency, helping support senior and more junior colleagues on critically important projects for our largest and most important client account.
You are a creative thinker, and keen to progress in your career.
The role The role would involve:
supporting the two senior directors who work on a large-scale international mystery shopping project (LIF) and supervising a junior support executive Getting involved in and ultimately taking a lead in other semi-continuous projects for the same client.
Activity on the LIF project fluctuates – there are intense, busy periods when your time would be 100% allocated to the project.
Typical tasks would involve regular email and video conference contact with our NY based client, liaising with the project team and external (foreign language) consultants who support us, setting quotas for interviews, overseeing data quality and back-end analysis (typically in excel) and production of PowerPoint reports.
You would also be required to support the team on two other semi-continuous projects (both quarterly).
One is with another team at the NY office (panel interviews with US consumers), while the other is more a competitor intelligence piece where we assess our client's products vs competitor products.
For both, you would have the opportunity to take a lead role from beginning to end for each wave (set-up, project management, back-end reporting).
The LIF element of the role will include:
Initial liaison / set-up meeting with the client where we agree the project scope (typically end of March) Joining and ultimately leading weekly video calls with the client and the Jigsaw project team Working closely with the project team and our partner agencies (database provider and three market research call centres) and our temporary foreign language staff Overseeing data quality, checking some of the excel databases Overseeing an AI program which helps us shortcut some of the data quality checking Overseeing quotas for interviewing Overseeing and monitoring the interviewing progress and supporting the call centres when they have issues Checking interview data quality Back-end analysis (responding to client analysis requests) PowerPoint charting (overseeing country reports) The non LIF elements of the role will include:
Liaison with the client (mix of email and conference calls) Ensuring projects happen on time i.e.
planning resource ahead, lining up external suppliers Overseeing fieldwork Overseeing back-end analysis and PowerPoint reporting Desired skills and knowledge You will have worked in a market research environment, ideally with hands on experience in supporting/managing large tracking studies within the finance sector.
Key skills needed:
Strong quantitative skills Track record in running large scale quantitative projects – multi-country, continuous or semi-continuous tracking ideally Strong project management skills Multi-tasking and ability to juggle different priorities Outstanding attention to detail Excellent communication and team skills – including communicating with client and suppliers every day Able to work independently and as part of a team A creative thinker – always pushing to think of new and interesting ways to improve project processes Interest in adopting new technology and tools to automate and speed up manual processes (working with Jigsaw developers) Confidence and ability to work as part of a very senior, busy, demanding (but friendly) team – self-starting, confident, collaborative A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to succeed Strong Excel skills – able to write formulae and create pivot tables Good level of PowerPoint skills Languages (other than English) would be a bonus, rather than a requirement Working at Jigsaw Jigsaw has a hard working but supportive culture where our senior team are given a high degree of responsibility, autonomy and flexibility.
