A tight-knit, collaborative, and entrepreneurial systematic trading team are seeking an exceptional lead developer to join in building critical trading infrastructure for a brand new Systematic Equities Desk with an ML driven strategy.
This is an opportunity to work directly alongside an industry legend and cutting-edge quant researchers where you will be given complete autonomy to design and develop quantitative tools in a tech-centric and transparent trading environment where your work will impact every intricacy of the investment process through from prototype to real-time implementation.
As such, you will receive a direct and lucrative share of PnL given your work will have immediate impact and instill a legacy on the desks success for years to come.
Principal Responsibilities Assist in building system for implementing the trading algorithms the team is researching Design, code, and maintain team's infrastructure Assist in designing and maintaining tools for the systematic trading infrastructure of the team Perform data analysis and generate live and historical analytical reports Stay current on state-of-the-art technologies and tools including technical libraries, computing Collaborate with the PM and Quant Researchers and the trading group in a transparent environment, engaging with the whole investment process Requirements Bachelor, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related STEM field 5 years of experience with Python/C++ in a front-office trading or Research-orientated (ML) environment Deep understanding of computer hardware Experience building out production trading infrastructure from the ground up Experience building out quantitative tools and models for research Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical and quantitative skills Demonstrated experience completing project independently Target Start Date As soon as possible (will wait up to 12 months for exceptional candidate)
