With the Quality team growing this is a great opportunity for a graduate to join a secure company who can offer growth and professional development.This is what you'll be doing as Quality TechnicianPerform final Inspection, being responsible for the quality of product leaving the factory guided by job instructions, standards and specificationsCarry out other inspection duties, such as PPI, as required, in support of productionCarry out all laboratory testing requirements on test specimens in accordance with customer specifications and international standards.
To maintain the laboratory test specimen results database/spreadsheetCompile and publish laboratory reports indicating results of test specimens as requestedParticipate in RCA at site to help decrease non-conformance trendsMonitor laboratory data for trends and act pre-emptively to prevent non-conformitiesCarry out final release documentation checks and sign Certificates of ConformanceLiaise with Customers and Suppliers as required to resolve issuesBecome familiar with the AS9100 processLiaise with internal departments to troubleshoot on a daily basis and work towards eliminating sources of non-conformancePerform internal audits as required to support the site's quality management systemAssist with maintaining and monitoring the site's quality management system processes and approvals such as calibration, document control and trainingEnsure a high level of communication to employees, managers and colleaguesGood housekeeping of own work area and contribute to the general upkeep of the working environmentBecome familiar with the "check-work-check" process and be committed to a "right first time" approach to all tasks carried outThe experience you will bring as Quality Technician Familiar with Inspection techniques (Visual & First Article Inspection experience with Measurement Using Equipment such as Micrometres, Elcometer, Surface Roughness, etc.
)Familiar with Lab procedures and methods (Microscope / Tensil Testing / Hardness testing / Sample Button Preparation, etc.
