Your new role As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving product quality and safety standards.
Reporting to the NPD Manager, you will conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Your main duties will include performing routine quality control tests on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods, conducting visual inspections, and maintaining accurate records of quality control tests and results.
You will also assist in investigating quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances, and collaborate with production personnel to implement corrective actions.
Additionally, you will support the NPD process and preparation of sample requirements as per customer, sales, and product development requests.
What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will need a strong understanding of food hygiene and manufacturing systems and procedures.
The ability to use your own initiative and work under minimal supervision is essential.
You should have a methodical and meticulous work aptitude and be capable of covering in the absence of the NPD Manager and NPD Technician.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for performing quality control tests and maintaining accurate records.
