Quality Technician

Quality Technician Colchester, Essex c£34k - £36k neg dep exp Our client has been established for more than half a century and are market leaders in the manufacture of bespoke panel products for an array of furniture applications, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Quality Technician to complement their professional manufacturing team.
Reporting to the General Manager and based near Colchester, the successful Quality Technician candidate will be tasked with maintaining and developing the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) and maintaining quality assurance across all aspects of production.
With excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels, you will liaise with both internal departments as well as external customers and suppliers in order to ensure that quality standards are adhered to.
Core duties will include (but not be limited to): Assisting the General Manager with the maintenance of the QMS and with the development of current and new processes and procedures in line with the Company's stated quality objective.
Undertaking part/production inspection against documented quality requirements.
Representing the business while interacting with customers to resolve quality issues and assisting with the communication of quality requirements throughout the Company.
