The role will require delivery of Pulsed Power Programmes to agreed time, cost and quality metrics.
This involves theoretical, modelling and analysis of experimental technical programmes in order to enhance electron beam flash radiographic sources and other pulsed power machine technologies.
Conducting performance analysis of existing Pulsed Power systems A degree in Physics or STEM discipline, equivalent NQF level 6 qualification or equivalent experience Knowledge or working experience of pulsed power systems, electron beam transport or radiofrequency accelerating cavities Knowledge or working experience of electromagnetic modelling codes e.g.
Able to provide technical input within own field of expertise that can influence project or team activity 9-day working fortnight - meaning you get every other Friday off work, in addition to 270 hours of annual leave.
