Quality Manager - Smart Meter Experience London - Onsite 2/3 times a week.
May be some travel to Winchester 6 month contract Inside of IR35 Up to £500 per day My client, a Utility Giant, is looking for a Quality Manager with experience within the Water Sector to join their Smart Meter project.
Key Accountabilities Service Quality Champion, leading Quality team effectively Ownership of Quality Management Framework Define and implement the Service quality procedures, processes and Service Quality Plan Ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded to meet required Quality levels Ensure manufacturing or production processes meet all required standards and are sufficiently effective and scalable to meet Customer demand.
Identify initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency and productivity To ensure Quality processes and controls are in place and effectively delivered across stakeholders and suppliers To ensure Services and products released into operations meet Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL) and have undergone all planned Quality activities through delivery process Act as resolver to Problem Management in even t of Quality failure, leading Root Cause Analysis where appropriate and agreeing Corrective/{Preventative Action (CAPA) where relevant Identify areas of risk to Quality across Services, ensuring they are captured and escalated as required.
Work with Suppliers to ensure Quality Assurance and control activities are embedded into processes, reducing risk of defective product.
To ensure that Suppliers have effective and scalable process and infrastructure in place to meet Customer demand.
Provide representation at Operational Acceptance Boards as required Attend CAB as Quality Representative as required.
Key Skills Extensive experience in a Quality Management role Excellent knowledge of the suite of ISO Standards, specifically ISO 9001 Strong experience in supplier quality management Solid experience within the Utility Sector If you are available and interested, please apply today!
