Quality Manager Location: Tring, Hertfordshire Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum - DOE Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Office Hours) Our client is a leading name in the automotive industry, known for producing high-quality products.

Role Overview: As a Quality Manager , you will play a key role in ensuring the continued success and growth of their business as a quality-conscious manufacturing company.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS), maintaining certifications, and driving continuous improvement across the site.
You will also have direct interaction with customers across a range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical, motorsports, and plastics.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF16949 standards and maintain relevant certifications.
Take responsibility for the overall Quality Management System (QMS) .
Work closely with customers to resolve any quality concerns.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Ensure all internal audits are completed on time.
Oversee FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and Control Plan reviews.
Prepare and present quality performance reports to the management team.
Desired Skills and Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications: Degree educated in Maths, Science, or a related field.
Strong background in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
Fully conversant with ISO 9001 and IATF16949 standards.
Experience with internal auditing is essential.
Auditor training is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in techniques like 8D , 5Y , and Root Cause Analysis .
Experience with Continuous Improvement methods, such as Lean or Six Sigma (training is a bonus, but not essential).
Personal Attributes: They are looking for a hard-working , energetic , and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.
You should be able to interpret engineering drawings and approach tasks in a methodical and disciplined manner.
An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest possible standards are essential for success in this role.
