Quality Manager

The Role We're looking for a Quality Manager to be part of a busy, supportive team.
It's a busy, fast-paced environment and, reporting to the Technical Manager, some of your responsibilities will include: Leading, developing, and motivating the quality team to drive and maintain standards.Supporting the Technical Manager, working to drive cultural and behavioural change.Working closely with colleagues in operations/production to instil a food quality focused culture.Ensuring the site is audit ready and always meets BRC, retail, and legislative standards.Spending a lot of time in the factory, proactively identifying and remedying food safety and quality issues.
About You:This is an ideal opportunity for a Quality Manager looking for a new challenge, or somebody with a technical/quality background looking for progression.The key things you'll need are: Experience of leading a quality team in a chilled/high-care food manufacturing environment.Proactive in approach, able to work with a degree of autonomy and the confidence to challenge as appropriate.Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of BRC and retail codes of practice.Team player, comfortable leading and developing people and contributing to the wider technical function.
