Quality Inspector Location: Sittingbourne Salary: From £29,000 basic, plus overtime Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4.45pm, Friday 8am - 12pm (with 13 hours overtime available) Are you passionate about quality and meticulous in your approach?

The Role As a Quality Inspector , you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and improving quality standards across the organisation.
Your main responsibilities will include: Driving quality forward by maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and maintaining certification.
Conducting quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing products.
Performing periodic spot checks on the production line and investigating root causes of quality issues.
Monitoring quality-related documentation to meet customer, business, and accreditation requirements.
Reporting on key quality metrics, including NCRs, KPIs, and surveys.
Collaborating with internal teams to resolve quality issues swiftly and effectively.
What We're Looking For We're searching for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Inspector with the following skills and experience: Proficiency in MS Office software and Epicor.
Strong understanding of technical drawings, including welding symbols and geometric tolerances.
Experience in internal auditing (as an auditor or auditee).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
A background in mechanical engineering or manufacturing is highly desirable.
