Your Role Hours: Mon to Fri Salary: £39,832 to £43,815 - **Near Vision and Colour Deficiency Tests will be conducted as part of the Interview process** We are the contract logistics partner of choice for logistics outsourcing and the management of complex supply chains.

Kuehne + Nagel provides a production support service package for Leonardo Helicopters that consists of all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage and picking & packing.
In addition, centres co-located with the end user ensure store to fitment service.
Your Responsibilities Inspect aircraft components, ground support equipment and raw material.
Support customer initiatives with suppliers and provide inspection / audit functions at suppliers or vendors premises.
Inspect products at goods receipt following customer's inspection plans.
Raise Quality notifications for non-conforming product.
Re-inspect and re-life items which have expired current stock life limits.
Perform despatch inspections to customer or contractual requirements.
Perform departmental procedure reviews.
To use relevant inspection tools, software, drawings & models.
Support the resolving of Quality notifications.
Engage with customer and supplier representatives and the customer's quality department.
Operate the customers SAP system Training of colleagues.
Checking inspection tooling is calibrated and instigating re-calibration if required.
Your Skills and Experiences A relevant 4 year engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
Competent in interpreting engineering drawings.
Principles of machining and assembly techniques.
Understanding of NDT processes and techniques.
Understanding of treatments applied to raw material.
Understanding concession process.
Familiar with unqualified, interim and fully qualified components in relation to aircraft production.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective dialogue with customers both internal and external.
