Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector (6-month contract) Glasgow Nine Twenty are working with a specialist in small satellite technology that provides businesses, governments and educational authorities with timely data from space. We are looking for a Quality Inspector to work with them in Glasgow on a 6-month contract.
Responsibilities The purpose of the role is to inspect and test the quality of materials, products and missions to cost, quality, safety, and time parameters. Deliver work tasks and assignments in accordance with required standards, quality, budget and timescales Conduct inspections on incoming goods, in-process and final key inspection stages Create reports on inspection results and any quality issues identified Support non-conformance investigations as required Share guidance with colleagues on quality control issues Support the wider team as required Requirements Essential:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrates knowledge and application of quality standards Understands costs associated with quality escapes Basic knowledge of electronics Desired:
