Working as a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that automotive components within a specific category meet specifications, industry regulations and the companys high standards before they are approved as new products.
The duties of this process driven technical quality inspection role include: Physical inspection of automotive components and sub-assemblies Carrying out a range of validation testing including use of measurement tools Reading, understanding and interpreting technical drawings, information and specifications Speaking with various stakeholders including suppliers and internal teams Accurately recording and analysing gathered information before compiling reports on a daily basis Offering support to audit process as required The successful Quality Inspector will: Hold an Engineering qualification, or be qualified through experience within a related role with good GCSEs Be technically minded, with the ability to read technical drawings Have report writing experience Be able to use measurement tools Have a process driven mindset, with the ability to accurately record information even when carrying out repetitive tasks Have great communication skills To be a top candidate for this role, you will also have: Experience within automotive manufacturing Studied to degree level previously An interest in the automotive sector Immediate availability This company are growing, and have further plans for expansion, which means more opportunities!
