Quality Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a strong background in heavy engineering and manufacturing to join a dynamic team in North Yorkshire.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement ITP's ensuring compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with project teams to identify quality requirements and integrate them into construction and fabrication processes.
Create and maintain Control Plans to monitor and manage product quality Manage non-conformance reporting and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate lean principles into quality processes Support the development and delivery of quality training to team members and subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience: HNC in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Significant experience in a quality engineering role within heavy manufacturing or a related field.
Strong understanding and experience in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification is a plus.
