Location:  Tewkesbury Employment Type:   Full-Time Monday-Friday  Hours:   38 Hours per week Salary:  £35,000 Holiday entitlement:  26 days + Bank holidays- Increasing with length of service.

What You'll Do: Reporting to the General Manager, this role involves providing essential Quality Engineering support for Operations and Quality departments, with responsibilities including: Overseeing inspection and certification control plans, including final sign-offs Supporting Project Management with contract reviews and quality audits Conducting production approvals, part inspections, and process audits Ensuring adherence to ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification Driving continuous improvement through data-driven quality initiatives Working hands-on with technical documentation, engineering drawings, and defence standards Requirements: looking for an experienced Quality Engineer, ideally from a defence or electronics manufacturing background, with strong knowledge of engineering drawings, technical documentation, and compliance standards.
This role is ideal for candidates who are: Skilled in internal audits to ISO 9001:2015 and experienced with APQP and Six Sigma Confident with complex technical issues and able to communicate them clearly Qualified and experienced quality auditor Familiar with Defence Standards and IPC-A-610/IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards Familiar with electronic/electrical components and cabling Educated to Diploma / Degree level (or equivalent) – preferably in an engineering environment Proactive team players with excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement Please note DBS/Security clearance is required for this position.
