Quality Engineer

ROLE - Quality Engineer LOCATION - Shrewsbury TERM - Permanent SALARY - £35,000- £45,000 per annum dependant on experience (please advise) My innovative engineering client is looking to take on a Quality Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Shrophsire area.
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject Have industry experience working within a similar quality engineer role within another manufacturing engineering environment Experience of working in an ISO9001 or 14001 environments ideally Good knowledge of quality assurance methods and tools such as 8D, Six Sigma etc.
Experience in SPC, PPAP, MSA, FMEA Experience in Lead & Internal Auditing ISO9001 Certification Experience working with customers & suppliersThe Quality Engineer role will involve: Working full time onsite as part of the engineering team Ensuring all products and services meet ISO90001 standards Conducting quality audits Being involved in quality inspections Implementing any process improvements that are identified Working as part of a cross-functional team Supporting overall continuous improvement activitiesIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
