\n What Will Your Quality Engineer Role Include?
\n \n Supporting quality elements of new component development \n Providing support for product improvements on existing parts \n Liaising with technical members of staff on projects and regarding non-conformance of products \n Providing a clear definition of customer expectations for each of their projects \n Ensuring that components meet the defined and agreed specifications through hands-on auditing processes.
\n Be involved in continuous improvement projects as and when required.
\n \n What skills and experience do you need?
\n \n You will have experience working in quality in a manufacturing environment.
\n Experience of automotive or plastics manufacturing is desirable.
\n You will hold some form of technical or engineering qualification.
\n Good experience of utilising 8D as a tool.
\n You will be familiar with other quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, etc.
\n \n What's In It for You?
\n A salary of £40,000-£45,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, cash plan healthcare, 25 days holidays + Bank holidays, etc.
\n Working Hours: \n Hours of work are 8am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-2:30pm on a Friday.
