Quality Engineer

We are now looking for a detailed orientated, Quality Engineer to join our growing team!
Key Responsibilities: - Perform required inspections of raw materials, componentry and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Carry out RCA investigations to address customer, supplier and internal non-conformances.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conduct internal audits in accordance with company schedule.
- Assist in implementing environmental management systems and initiatives to minimize the company's environmental footprint.
- Assist with procedural development to support future Matrix Labs certifications.
- Maintain equipment calibration system.
- Monitor waste management practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety programs to promote a safe working environment for employees.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections, test results, and compliance documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on quality procedures, environmental practices, and health and safety protocols.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards related to quality, environmental, and health and safety requirements.
About You: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Qualified internal auditor.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply technical information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with quality management systems (QMS) or environmental management systems (EMS) is desirable.
