About the role: We are looking for a proven and passionate individual who wants to develop their career in a Quality Control role within the technology and engineering industry.
Main responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections and testing of manufactured parts to ensure they meet predefined specifications and quality standards.
This includes using various measurement and testing tools to check dimensions, functionality, and durability of the products.
Verify that all products align with the technical drawings and specifications.
This involves detailed comparisons against engineering drawings and ensuring that every component matches the required tolerances and parameters.
Maintain accurate records of quality checks, results of inspections, and testing processes.
Prepare detailed reports summarising findings and share with management and relevant departments.
Ensuring all job cards are accurately completed and filled out.
Work collaboratively with the wider team to resolve issues, determine root causes, and suggest corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Regularly communicate with stakeholders involved in the orders to provide updates and collect feedback.
Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in quality control practices.
Experience Required: 1 - 4 years of experience as a Quality Control Specialist within the manufacturing industry (open to entry level experience) Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering Hands-on experience working in a CNC floor environment Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings, ideally for CNC machined parts, with knowledge of ISO standards and BS8888 notations (GD&T - Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Experience in manufacturing metal and plastic components (e.g., CNC, injection moulding, sheet metal processes) Ability to make data-driven decisions and deliver results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments requiring quick judgment High attention to detail Desired experience: Strong organisational skills Experience working in a fast paced environment Past experience working with manufacturers abroad (China or India) Benefits: Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive salary that reflects your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.
