We are currently looking for a Quality Control Scientist to join a leading Biopharmaceutical company based in Oxford.
As the QC Scientist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality within the QC Analytical Laboratory, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
This role is an on-site position and offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will be highly valued.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Your duties as the Quality Control Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1.
Establish, revise, and maintain procedures for QC testing and maintain QC systems related to in-process, final drug product, and stability samples.
2. Review testing data of other analysts and assist with the maintenance of QC laboratory and equipment.
3.
Perform QC testing of raw materials, in-process, water, and product samples following SOPs and review and complete documentation in accordance with cGMP.
4.
Assist with audits and regulatory inspections, as needed, and oversee sampling and storage of QC samples.
Role Requirements: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Quality Control Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1.
Relevant degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or other related science.
2.
Proven industry experience in a GLP/GMP environment.
3.
A working knowledge and practical experience with techniques such as ELISA, gel electrophoresis, bioassays, spectroscopy, and PCR.
