A new opportunity for a pivotal role and member of the Quality and Food Safety Department, leading your team in a successful category and working within a business who are investors in people and continuously developing their staff plus encourages and demonstrates progression.
As the QC & Laboratory Manager you'll have experience in Food Manufacturing, Laboratory knowledge and Team Management.
- Ensure compliance with BRCGS and other relevant certifications - Conduct internal audits and manage external audits from regulatory bodies and clients - Reduction of quality failures, complaints investigations and resolution - Lead and manage the quality control processes across multiple manufacturing sites - Continuous improvement and maintaining a high level of service along with compliance of legislation and specification - Implement and monitor food safety testing programs, ensuring all products meet strict safety standards - Develop and maintain effective traceability systems across the supply chain - Oversee quality control and food safety procedures, ensuring continuous improvement in processes - Provide training and support to site QC teams and food safety practices - Develop and support the QC's and Laboratory teams in line with training, GMP, GLP and - HACCP standards and ability to drive the team to forward - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any quality issues Experience working within Food manufacturing or Laboratory is required as well exposure to managing a team.
Proven experience in quality management within the food manufacturing sector would be advantageous Knowledge of BRCGS standards and auditing processes.
Expertise in food testing, quality control and traceability systems Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
Your role will be liaising with various departments across the site, and the position will suit a self-motivated and engaging personality with the ability to communicate at all levels.
