MTrecs New Opportunity; MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious precision engineering/manufacturing client, based in Northumberland, by recruiting a permanent Quality Assurance Technician to join their growing team.
A successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that a supplier reliably supplies goods or services that satisfy the customers needs.
This process is collaborative to ensure the suppliers offerings meet the agreed-upon requirements with minimum inspection or modification.

The Job Youll Do; Working closely with customer engineers through the life cycle of product development projects.
Developing and maintaining quality control measures through the project.
You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding suppliers in tandem with the purchasing department This will include on-site vendor audits, undertaking any relevant tasks to ensure supplier suitability.
You will be responsible for ongoing supplier management activity, such as implementing supplier score carding and CAPA.
You will also be instrumental in helping the company work towards industry specific standards, such as ISO etc.
About You; Have experience within a supplier facing quality role or relevant experience within a similar role.
Have a recognised Quality or Engineering discipline i.e., ONC, HNC, NVQ, C&G, or BTEC Experienced in aerospace or automotive industry standards, procedures & practices Working practical knowledge of ISO Quality Systems, customer specific requirements and APQP/PPAP requirements Shall be familiar with Quality core tools FMEA, Control Plans Kaizen and CI TPBN1_UKTJ
