Quality Assurance Technician

Connect Appointments are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to become a Quality Assurance Technician with our client's growing Broxburn-based team.

A full-time temp-to-perm position, working Monday to Friday - 06:00 to 14:45 during training; and 05:00 to 13:30/06:00 to 15:00 after training.
For this you will receive a competitive salary of £12.77 per hour, combined with a company pension, discounted and free food, on-site parking, and more.
Reporting to the QA Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the production processes.
As such, your duties and responsibilities would include: Quality checks throughout Production, including Despatch checks, label checks, metal detection CCP checks, Intake checks, VL checks, and online QA checks Ensuring product specifications are met consistently Maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) on a daily basis Manage QC Hold, Quarantine, and Non-Conformance processes (e.g., paperwork, quarantine) Conduct monthly Blade Audit, Hard Plastic, and Glass Audit The successful applicant will ideally have the following key skills, traits and experience: Preferred experience in HACCP and Internal Auditing (not essential) Strong communication skills both written and verbal Great problem-solving abilities, with the capability to meet strict deadlines Have a proactive and can-do attitude Have high attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of excellent quality If you possess the above and are interested, please apply now or give us a call on 01506 449 944.
