We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Test Support to join our Core Banking Partenon and Gravity support team who are responsible for many of the bank's key applications.
We are a diverse team of skilled analysts and developers looking for a skilled QA Test Support with extensive experience in the Software delivery process for Production (PRO) incidents, Software changes and Projects to test the End-to-End solutions for Personal Accounts and Payments for Retail and Corporate.

The difference you'll make: Leading testing, working with a small team both onsite and offshore Testing Digital Web applications (UI and Functional testing), Providing analysis in Build Automation Test based in Customer Journeys Provisioning Automation and Manual Test for the numerous applications covered by the Core Banking Personal Accounts team running on various platforms including IBM Mainframe, Linux, Oracle and Microfocus Analysing and reporting accurately, explaining and reporting test status progress and issues to both technical and a non-technical audience Delivering high quality supporting Zero Production incidents as QA principles What you'll bring: These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role: Extensive IT and Financial Services experience Experience in working across all stages of Software Testing Life Cycle - Requirement Analysis, Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Case Preparation, Test Case Execution, UAT (Support) and Deployment (Support), Defect Reporting Experience in Personal Account process as Front End (branches and Internet portals), Customer Communications (Statement and Letter) and Back End (product parametrizations, accounts transactions and balances reconciliations process) Proven experience to manage and query data from Personal Account DB IBM COBOL and Oracle (Gravity) Experience working in Scrum framework and involved in Scrum events like PBI estimation, sprint planning, daily scrum calls, sprint review and sprint retrospective It would also be nice for you to have: Knowledge in writing SQL queries Experience in API Testing Knowledge on IT project budget management, applied to test estimation calculation and tracking Proven experience in Payment's transaction as part Personal Account support, Domestics, International Payments and Cheques What else you need to know: This permanent role is based in Unity Place - Milton Keynes.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

For this position, the interview process will be :- 1st Stage - Technical Interview - this will a 30/60 min technical interview with one of the team 2nd Stage - A one-hour formal interview where we will ask competency-based questions.
