Quality Assurance Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Operator to join the Technical Team at Redruth site.Working Hours will be Monday- Friday 05:30am- 14:30pmIn your role you will ensure that products achieve highest food safety and quality standards for our customers.You will lead by example and actively encourage all staff to take ownership of product quality and immediately report any quality or food safety issues. The suitable applicant will be required:To check and monitor processes making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and procedureTo maintain a working knowledge of all products produced site wide and the procedures surrounding that production and the paperwork that relates to themTo input data as required by department's needsTo ensure product safety and quality meets specification and procedureTo be fully competent in completing all QA functionsTo perform all aspects of on line checks of product, packaging, labelling and procedure, ensuring compliance with specificationTo routinely check factory paperwork and report/action issues efficientlyCarry out gas analysis on packaging and completing of relevant paperworkThe successful candidate will:Have previous experience in Manufacturing, FMCG or food related industryUsed to working under pressureBy familiar with HACCP and know a CCP's in site operationsAbility to communicate at all levelsBe able to demonstrate excellent attention to detailBe able to complete all paperwork with 100% accuracyShow commitment to their role through timekeeping and attendance, and have a great ''can do attitude''
