You will be responsible for developing the enterprise relationship through understanding their business objectives, how they conduct their insights activities and driving adoption of Toluna's best-in-class tech stack.
Introduction The Qualitative Project Manager is responsible for executing all aspects of the data collection process for Qualitative research projects, to Client Service specifications.
The role is primarily dedicated to internal/external coordination and troubleshooting issues related to managing Qualitative market research projects, data collection, incidence, and quotas.
The Qualitative Project Manager works closely with the Qualitative Team to develop operations subject matter expertise and contribute to the education of the Qualitative Team on new process and products, best practices, trouble shooting, and autonomous solutions implementation.
Success in this role is predicated on strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
Individuals must be able to process specific instructions and take independent action to achieve the underlying objective.
The Senior Qualitative Project Manager may be tasked with proactively identifying and implementing alternative courses of action on projects.
Responsibilities: Manage external relationships o Attend client kick-off calls o Select/recommend the most appropriate vendors for each project e.g.
recruitment agencies o Research new vendors, as needed o Provide/communicate clear instructions detailing project qualifications, interview procedure and quota targets o Coordinate recruiting vendors and other services (i.e., transcription, videoconferencing, etc.)
o Track field progress, correcting course as necessary o Reconcile and approve invoices o Coordinate Quantitative surveys and data collection with outside vendors, if necessary Manage internal departmental relationships o Attend internal brainstorming meetings o Work alongside sourcing to select vendors and then work with them to execute o Reconcile/clarify ambiguous or contradictory instructions with proposal, client instructions o Identify recruiting problems or issues and recommend solutions • Create screeners for new projects and/or review screeners for clarity/accuracy • Coordinate all communication related to data collection and field o Communicate any changes to timelines or feasibility to the impacted Qualitative Team Member and production groups/vendors o Accurately set internal and external expectations o Identify potential issues before they occur and recommend solutions o Coordinate and oversee all in-person fieldwork related to Logistics, Route planning, client and moderator comfort and needs, communication with vendors o Ensure platforms for immerse and communities and booked, programmed and set up correctly o Attend immerse sessions to ensure fieldwork runs smoothly and technically ensure projects run completely Serve as first-tier internal escalation point Other duties as assigned Position Qualifications: Required skill set: • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience • 3+ years' work experience in Market Research Project Management or equivalent • PMI/PMP type Project Management certification, a plus, but not mandatory Specialized Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • High degree of familiarity with or keenness to learn more on Qualitative Market Research methodologies (Focus Groups, IDIs, TDI's, various Online Platforms), as well as a Online and Offline (CLT's, HUT's) Quantitative Market Research data collection and processing services • Working familiarity with Videoconferencing software (Zoom, Teams) Professional Skills • Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness and curiosity; asks "why?" • Conscientious, reliable, and punctual • Ability to work under pressure, and within established time restrictions • High degree of flexibility and self-motivation • Strong organizational skills, with ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize own workload • Demonstrates analytical aptitude to include problem identification / resolution • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Personal Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective relationships (internal / external) • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Looks to advance the success of the entire Qualitative Team • Communicates a "can do" attitude and positive outlook • Actively seeks opportunities to expand the impact of the role Leadership Skills • Demonstrates competence and confidence when interacting with others • Readily masters new subjects and propagates distribution of knowledge Our Values: Acting with Ownership.
