Location : Kettering Salary : £39,000 - £42,000 per annum Are you an experienced and passionate Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families?
Join our client as a Children's Social Worker in their Children in Care Team, where you'll work in a dynamic and supportive environment committed to delivering positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities Build meaningful, strength-based relationships with young people, their families, and carers.
Conduct clear, accurate assessments, including preparing and presenting cases in court when necessary.
Coordinate multi-agency approaches to ensure effective care planning and support for children in care.
Collaborate closely with the Leaving Care Service and external partners to achieve long-term plans for children in care.
Manage fast-paced caseloads with a focus on delivering excellent outcomes in a timely manner.
Essential Criteria - Are You the Right Fit?
Qualified Social Worker : You must be a registered social worker with SWE (Social Work England) and have successfully completed your ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment).
Court Experience : Confident and capable of representing cases in court, including attending hearings independently when required.
Proven Experience : Minimum 1 years of experience working with children in care, child protection, or legal proceedings.
Strong Communication Skills : Ability to build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families while providing strength-based support.
Decision Making & Analysis : Confident in making informed decisions and conducting thorough assessments to support effective care planning.
