Job Title: Qualified Religious Education Teacher Location: East of England, Essex, Basildon Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £33,075 - £45,037 Per annum Job Description: We are currently seeking a Qualified Religious Education Teacher to join our team in Basildon, Essex.
As a dedicated educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality religious education to students in line with the national curriculum.
Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging lessons on religious education topics Assess and evaluate students' progress Provide constructive feedback to students and parents Participate in departmental meetings and school events Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Religious Studies or related field Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for religious education Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies or a related field Experience: Previous experience teaching religious education at secondary school level Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate students Strong understanding of different religious beliefs and practises Organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education or Religious Studies Experience working with diverse student populations Working Conditions: This is a full-time position based in Basildon, Essex.
The role may involve some extracurricular activities and occasional evening events.
