About the Role The successful candidate will: Deliver engaging and inclusive Maths lessons tailored to students' individual needs and abilities.
Create a supportive and positive classroom environment that encourages participation and success.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff, to ensure holistic student development.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing detailed feedback and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Contribute to the school's continuous improvement by participating in curriculum development and extra-curricular activities.
Key Requirements Applicants must: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Have experience teaching Maths, preferably across a range of Key Stages.
Demonstrate a commitment to supporting students with special educational needs and a strong understanding of differentiated teaching methods.
Exhibit excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to professional development.
Desirable Attributes Previous experience working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting.
Familiarity with the EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) process and related strategies.
A passion for innovative teaching practices and creative problem-solving in education.
