Job Title: Qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner Location: Hemel Hempstead, England, United Kingdom Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum (depending on experience) Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Level 3 Practitioner to join our vibrant nursery team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Key Responsibilities: Childcare: Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children, promoting their development and well-being.
Planning and Implementation : Plan and implement engaging activities and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Observation and Assessment: Monitor and record children s progress through detailed observations and assessments, sharing these with parents and carers.
Safeguarding: Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed, and that children are kept safe from harm.
Parent Partnership: Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a nurturing and stimulating environment, sharing ideas and supporting each other.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills: Essential: Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Excellent communication and interpersonal skills First Aid and Safeguarding certification Desirable: Experience with special educational needs (SEN) Additional training or certifications in child development Personal Attributes: Passionate about early years education and childcare Caring, nurturing, and patient Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Benefits: Competitive salary and opportunities for career progression Professional development and training opportunities Supportive and inclusive working environment Paid holidays and pension scheme Application Process: Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a cover letter outlining their suitability for the post.
