Join our experienced team at Berkshire Healthcare, based at either Whitley Health Clinic or Southcote Clinic in Reading, working alongside a dedicated group of Health Visitors, Staff Nurses, and Nursery Nurses.
Together, we provide health and development services to children aged 0-5 and their families across diverse areas in Reading.
You'll be a qualified Health Visitor, registered as a Specialist Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) and active on the NMC register.

Main duties of the job Work closely with other healthcare professionals and agencies to make sure children and families get the best support possible.
Assess the health and development needs of children and families, using the right assessment and risk tools at every visit.
Support breastfeeding and parent-infant relationships, following the Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative standards.
Ensure that the care we provide is respectful of the family's race, culture, religion, and language.
Be vigilant about safeguarding and follow the appropriate procedures to protect vulnerable families.
Collaborate with local authorities to offer comprehensive support to families.

Free parking across Trust sites Job description Job responsibilities The must haves for this role: A qualified Health Visitor who has completed the SCPHN and is active on the NMC register.
A non medical prescriber.
A passion for working with children and families, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and agencies.
