Dalkia UK have a fantastic opportunity for a Projects QSHE Advisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.Dalkia are a facilities management company.
We are seeking a QSHE Advisor for a newly created position, to provide support to a number of ongoing projects with our client EDF Energy, across various locations in the UK.
This is a home-based national role with travel to our offices and various project sites as needed, with most current and upcoming projects being based across the South and London areas.Hours of WorkMonday to Friday, 40 hours per weekResponsibilitiesProvide competent and definitive QSHE advice, guidance and leadership to the Projects teamAssist in actively improving QSHE standards across all EDF projectsAdvise on QSHE matters including changes to legislation or company standardsManage and carry out QSHE inspections on all project works across the contractAssist in maintaining project QSHE records as requiredCoach and mentor employees in QSHE induction programmes and other training required for projectsDeliver briefings and presentations where necessaryParticipate in Health & Safety Codes of Safe Working and other Environmental issues to ensure total compliance with Dalkia Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.Make recommendations on matters concerning continuous improvement and "adding value" that may improve the productivity, costs, quality of service delivery etc.EssentialNEBOSH Certificate or equivalentExtensive knowledge of all Health and Safety regulations with a specific focus on CDM regulationsDesirableNEBOSH Diploma or working towardsNEBOSH Construction CertificatePTTLSEnvironmental AwarenessTraining experienceProject work / general construction backgroundBenefitsSalary: £40,000 per annum25 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysThe opportunity to use one working day per year volunteering to help the local communityCar AllowanceLife AssuranceFlexible Benefits Scheme – including eye care voucher, store discounts for major retailers, salary sacrifice electric car vehicle lease scheme, personal IT equipment loans, impartial financial/savings guidanceAccess to wellbeing programmesCompany Sick PayEmployee Referral bonus with generous bonuses for 'referring a friend'Employee Assistance Programme - free, confidential 24/7 365 support on all lifestyle mattersSmartphone / TabletWe're committed to treating all our job applicants fairly and with respect.
