Job title: QHSE Manager Location: Ilkeston Hours: Mon - Fri 40 hours Salary: Up to £40k DOE Purpose of the QHSE Manager Role: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced QHSE Manager to join their team in Ilkeston.
As a key leader within the company, you will be responsible for managing and improving quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.
Your expertise with BRC standards and ISO 9001 will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities for a QHSE Manager: Oversee and maintain compliance with BRC standards and ISO 9001 certification.
Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and systems to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive measures to mitigate potential issues.
Manage all aspects of health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Provide training and guidance to staff to embed a culture of quality and safety across the organisation.
Work collaboratively with production and operations teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Monitor and report on QHSE performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
Key Requirements for a QHSE Manager: Proven experience in a QHSE role.
Strong knowledge of BRC standards and ISO 9001.
Excellent understanding of quality assurance, health & safety, and environmental practices.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience in conducting audits and managing corrective actions.
Proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
