Main Purpose of RoleThe QC Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations.
Working closely with the Quality Control team, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing various analytical tests and inspections to assess the quality and integrity of our products.Key AccountabilitiesPerform laboratory work and data analysis in a timely manner and to a high standard, and in accordance with all relevant procedures, Study Plans and SOPs.
Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with GLP/GMP, as appropriate, and ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures and that all risk assessments relevant to the work being performed (COSHH, GMO etc) are read and understood prior to undertaking work.
Perform all relevant Quality Control duties in accordance with the requirements of GMP.Ensure that all department laboratories are in compliance with the relevant cleaning, housekeeping and general procedural SOPs.Provide regular updates to Study Directors/Scientists/Department Managers regarding the status of ongoing projects and studies, including any deviations, non-conformances and out of specifications immediately.Assist Study Directors/Scientists/Department Managers in any investigation and/or corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) processes as required, and provide technical laboratory support in conducting investigations andSkills & KnowledgePrevious experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industryAbility to develop a high level of technical competenceHigh level of attention to detail requiredGood communication skillsQualificationsEducated to degree level in a relevant discipline ( BSc Hons in biological science).
An alternative equivalent level of expertise may be appropriate.
