Job overview: As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by actively participating in all stages of the SDLC.
You'll be responsible for identifying defects, verifying features, and contributing to the improvement of testing processes, all while working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Writing and executing test cases (manual and automated) and analysing Accurate and thorough evidencing of test execution Ensuring that acceptance criteria is correct and sufficient such as to ensure quality while minimising risk Reporting and escalating bugs and issues to development teams and Product Managers Participating in Scrum ceremonies which include refinement, estimation and planning sprints.
Testing across a range of devices; desktop, mobile, tablet etc Working with other QA Engineers to improve processes, document and share knowledge of the systems amongst the team.
Requirements Experience and Skills: An excellent understanding of software quality assurance and QA best practices ISTQB Foundation or higher Solid working knowledge of web, integration and API testing 3+ years' experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role Experience with performance, load, security, and accessibility testing (Desirable) Direct experience of test automation and writing automation scripts for REST API (Desirable) Basic SQL knowledge to aid with querying databases Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Postman, BrowserStack, Rollbar (or similar error reporting solutions) Excellent communication skills Experience testing eCommerce websites/platforms (Desirable) Experience working within and supporting Agile Scrum Benefits The salary range on offer for this role is £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
